Exhibition in the Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek Bonn Das gedruckte Museum von Pontus Hulten (The printed museum of Pontus Hulten) Art exhibitions and their books, 1953-1996 Pontus Hulten began his international career as a young man at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm which grew into a major museum of modern art under his directorship (1958-1973). Pontus Hulten later participated closely in the development of other renowned exhibition centres and museums (e.g. Musée national d'art moderne in the Centre George Pompidou, Paris; Palazzo Grassi, Venice; Kunst- und Ausstellungshalle, Bonn). As exhibition curator he designed numerous exhibitions which have since become landmarks of 20th century art history (e.g.: Bewogen-Beweging; The Machine; Paris - New York; Paris - Berlin; Marcel Duchamp). The important phases in Hulten's biography are presented in an exhibition at the Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek Bonn with the aid of exhibition catalogues, posters, photos and letters from artists as well as documents. The exhibition will be accompanied by a book published by the Kunst- und Ausstellungshalle: Lutz Jahre: Das gedruckte Museum von Pontus Hulten.
