Film meets music
In connection with the International Film Music Biennial, a workshop with representatives of different sectors - like film production, film support, sound carrier industries, publishers, supervising agencies as well as directors - is offered, with the aim of discussing questions and problems of cooperation between the film industry and the music sector which are of current interest. In cooperation with Filmstiftung Nordrhein-Westfalen GmbH and Deutsche-Phono-Akademie e.V.

Round table
Film Music in Europe
An exchange of views on the role of film music and sound design in European films. The focus of attention is on specific means of fostering cooperation in this field, e.g. by encouraging the dialogue between training centres and young talents within Europe. We have, for example, invited representatives of partner festivals throughout Europe and of associated film promotion centres of member countries of the European Union. (For invited guests, partly open to the public)

Round table in cooperation with Verband der deutschen Filmkritik and Kunst Museum Bonn
Journalists from the fields of film and music-review exchange their views about the history and development of film music reviews in various media. Guests: Gerhard R. Koch (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung), Hans-Klaus Jungheinrich (Frankfurter Rundschau), Dietmar Kanthak (Bonn), Michael Althen (Süddeutsche Zeitung), Annett Busch (Spex), Daniel Kothenschulte (Köln) and others.
